FLASH!
The School Advisory
Council formally approved the change of the school's name at their recent meeting
on May 20, 2008. Effective immediately, our school's official name will be "St.
Peter Cathedral School". The change of the school's name to something
that clearly defines it as a Catholic school was one of the recommendations made
during the recent Middle States re-accredidation process. Additionally, the school
administration wishes to make our identity more specific within the Erie community
as an educational "school" facility.

States Re-Accredidation Awarded to St. Peter Cathedral School
A evaluation team from the
Middle States Commission on Elementary Schools visited St. Peter's in December
of 2007. We are happy to report that the school has been reaccredited for the
next 7 years. A copy of the Middle States report prepared by the evaluation team
is available for your review. See link below.

note the new cost for a student lunch. Lunches are set at
$2.00 for any student choosing to purchase
their lunch at school.
