We have the best volunteers anywhere!

The Cathedral City Senior Center could not run without the help of our committed and dedicated staff of volunteers. Become a volunteer today and have the time of your life while doing good for the community.

Here are some ways you can get involved:

Filing – Separating and filing paperwork and files by date and computer based data input.

Meals on Wheels – Setting up tables, wrapping silverware, handing out pre-made lunches to registered recipients and cleaning up afterwards. A certified food handler card may be required and the Center arranges the training.

Front Desk – Managing the phones, taking messages and transferring calls, answering questions, greeting members, filling out member applications, accepting money, assisting members with sign-ins. Scheduled shifts are from 9:00am-1:00pm weekdays.

 Sorting for Rummage Sale – Sorting, hanging, and labeling merchandise. Time requirement is approximately three hours every two weeks.

Help on Rummage Sale Days – Assist in displaying merchandise, help customers throughout the scheduled shift, and restock tables as needed.

Member Relations – Train members on technology and assist them with signing up for programs and events.
