The season of giving is here! Grocery Outlet in Cathedral City is holding two food drives this month to benefit the Cathedral City Senior Center Food Bank. Stop by, shop and help us stock our shelves for the neighbors who count on us this holiday season.
When and Where
- Saturday, November 7, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. – during Grocery Outlet’s grand re-opening celebration
- Saturday, November 21, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. – help us collect turkeys for our food bank families before Thanksgiving
Location: Grocery Outlet, 30025 Date Palm Dr., Cathedral City, CA 92234
What to Give
We accept unexpired, non-perishable items. Our biggest needs right now are:
- Pasta
- Pasta sauce
- Canned soup
- Fresh fruits
- Vegetables
- Cereal
- Turkeys (on November 21)
Shoppers will have plenty of easy ways to help the food bank, and anyone who spends more than $35 will get a free utility cart!
Want to Host a Food Drive?
Thank you to Grocery Outlet and all of our partners who use the season of giving to help fill our food bank. If your business or group would like to set up a food drive this season, email development@cathedralcenter.org and we’ll walk you through the process!
