It’s that time of year again! Medicare Open Enrollment runs from October 15 through December 7. This is your once-a-year chance to review your Medicare coverage and make changes for the year ahead. Any changes you make take effect on January 1, 2027.
Plans change their benefits, costs, and provider networks every year, so even if you’re happy with your current plan, it’s a good idea to check that it still fits your needs for 2027.

The Cathedral City Senior Center is hosting two free Medicare Open Enrollment meetings with Desert Oasis Healthcare (DOHC) and Bilhartz Desert Insurance. They’ll walk through the 2027 Medicare Advantage HMO benefits accepted at DOHC and answer your questions.
